I'm an undergraduate mathematics student at Massey University in New Zealand. My research interests focus on geometry and topology, but remains flexible while I consider graduate school.
Currently, I'm studying tools in topology, geometry, and differential equations, with a research focus on mean curvature flow and extrinsic geometric flows. I received a $6,000 grant to study dimension reduction for border collision bifurcations in dynamical systems.
Outside academics, I serve as Director of APSI Forum, an organization advising governments including Hong Kong and Singapore. My goal is to scale this internationally to finance capital intensive projects.
I believe mathematics is beautiful in itself. Asking “what's the application?” misses the point. The better question is “why is this so interesting?”
